I would Always Rather Be Happy Than Dignified. Team Sponsor
Anyone who knows me knows how much of a class I am. I always have a fashion statement on, and my smart phone is never far from arm’s reach. If I haven’t bought anything in a day, that’s usually a sign that something is wrong. This love of shopping have recently passed onto to classic jewellery. Not only do I like gold, but of course I like lovely silvers too! Which of course means I love lovely fashion things! I am waiting for him to bring out a lovely charm, because I will buy it in a snap and add it to my wardrobe.
Naturally, I was delighted to be asked by jeweler to review one of their necklaces. He makes jewellery and primarily inspired by all things that ladies love. I chose this fabulous silver locket with a quote from team mafisi on it.
The necklace itself arrived on a personalised with a name plate which I thought was a really nice touch and would make a really nice gift. For me, the downside is that it is not silver, and I would love to have the option to upgrade to a silver necklace. This is because I often react to different metals, I haven’t worn this necklace for any long periods of time yet for, so I might yet be ok with this one and it’s a certainly very reasonable at just 50000 kshs you can’t go wrong!
I have a small job it doesn’t pay well but i need to be happy, be able pay my bills and service my small Mercedes. Money is hard to come by, sponsors are saying business is down, they cant afford us any more. The trips to SA and other cities are always followed with audit reports, their companies can support our high-end lifestyles any more, What should we do be happy or dignified.
Days ahead are tough and the market is flooding, the city college students are running the tricks fast and their upkeep demands are lesser than my, my only advantage is privacy, with a small apartment in quite place where neighbours rarely meet its hard to determine who stays where, i thrive on. The sponsors only show up on my notice and leaves on my times. It a trend i have kept all along.
I heard we are many and guys on twitter are roasting us, the bloggers as well, where should i run, i have no regret and will leave my life, my dignity is long gone and now the only only thing in life to hold on is happiness. Then when you start to really understand it, you come up with these very complicated solutions because it’s really scarily. Most people stop there. But i keep burning the midnight oil and finally understand the underlying principles of the problem and came up with an elegantly simple solution for it. Let them talk and live your life.
But very few people go the distance to get there, while others find themselves in the middle of all these without their knowledge. I have lived a happy life and my wants are catered for by the sponsor, my dignity at the workplace is long gone but my happiness out of the office is always reflected on the radiant smile as i shop around.
So, materials, simplicity, and user experience? Is that all there is to it? No, I don’t think so. Sure, each of those elements are part of great design, but I believe this goes beyond design. It’s about philosophy. Sexy people aren’t a fancy package, a great looking banner, or a slick button. They’re about wowing the customer.
I try as as much as i can, that’s not something you can dissect into an easy set of step-by-step directions. It’s a mindset, a belief system, a philosophy of business that drives everything you do. The good news is that makes it attainable. To make your products sexy, you don’t need a whole building of designers or an agency on Madison Avenue. You just need to commit to giving your customers a truly memorable experience. And that’s something any person can do, no matter how big or small.
I hate talking much about my life, i love living each day as it comes, but most of all I would rather be happy than, dignified. If you’re like most people, pure, unadulterated lust. You have to have it, happiness.
